Yes, a most remarkable time. The Spaniards of that era were something to behold. From Cabeza de Vaca and Aguirre ("The Wrath of God") to Pizarro and Cortez, each one had enough valor, focus and gumption to choke a horse. Can you imagine them sitting around, moaning and groaning about their feelings and other "issues" like we do nowadays? Anyway, not my thread, and I apologize for the contribution to thread bloat, but I hate to see this bit of history mis-characterized. Adios.
