I understand that when you vote you have to make a choice and that the preponderance of your views are on the Republican side. I'm not questioning that. I simply asked how libertarians could be in the same room with the non-libertarian subset of the social conservatives and not get a rash.

With those that would really push to make the US in to a theocracy I probably would get a rash. With the pro-life part of the social conservative agenda I am in agreement. With those that would outlaw contraception or do similar things I will argue against them as much as I will argue against a socialist but I don't actually meet many people pushing this idea. Either they are very few of them or at least there are very few of them around me. I really don't see a big republican push for the social conservative agenda. Even in abortion the Republican party doesn't make any big effort.
