PS FWIW - I wouldn't hold you breath waiting for SCDMA. A lot of extra work for what is likely to be extremely little benefit on the reverse link.

PPS I agree that 1.225 mcps in a 1.25MHz BW seems improbable if the 1.25MHz bandwidth is surrounded by other kinds of users (and not accomplished as per spectrum plots at fcc). But obviously if surrounded by other CDMA users it is acceptable. I presume the FCC takes this into account?
