Or you could have referred to the unborn as the unborn--rather than "kids" and "Children" and "sons and daughters", and conducted your argument above board within the English language and the accepted vocabulary of our society. Hmmm. Trying to remember the last time I heard a woman say "I'm having an unborn" or "I'm having a fetus." I think most say "I'm having a baby" or "I'm pregnant with our baby." That, it seems to me, is the accepted vocabulary of our society.
