There is a difference between fair earned greed and fixing the game, trading huge favors for soft money, using your power to rip off the system and being basically corrupt and one-sided about who gains (Bush cronies and no one else). Bush will be very popular in Texas for a long time. He's made them tens of billions if not hundreds of billions (off the rest of us) in a short time. The rest of the country needs to strip him of power, and especially Cheney who's a truly despicable man I once admired. Court martial the corrupt thieving bastards and keep our environment healthy for our kids and grandkids and their kids and grandkids. And quit giving all our surplus away to the rich and the soft money insiders. The press has been very nice to Bush-Cheney so far. They've had a honeymoon. But no longer starting with this ill-advised energy program push today (which was roundly panned in every news service I read). It's only going to get worse for them, much worse. The moderates and the rest of the world want them out. And the moderates control all swing votes. I'd be surprised if one moderate still supports Bush in either party. Bush-Cheney may find themselves with only dittoheads left supporting them.
