I admitted the possibility that I could be wrong, that I had no data, not even anecdotal evidence. I said it was an assumption...far from a belief. But, lesee here. I have met lots of people who are agnostic regarding the existence of God (anecdotal). Many of them feel strongly that there could be a God they just don't like the set up given in the doctrinal religions and are looking for a better explanation. I deduced from this that they are leaning in the direction that there is a God but would like something like an auditory "Hey You, heads up for that lightnin bolt" to be convinced from whence it cometh. So as I said I assumed such people would be leaning toward soul recognition too. I have a hard time seeing how an agnostic could accept the possibility of God without the inclusion of a soul. Then there are all the mystics and perfect masters and such. If convenience rings my bell, I'll ask a lot of people and see what they have to say.
