I think there is little the Government can do about the dollar. Greenspan has slashed interest rates and pumped out money and the dollar keeps rising. What else can they do? A lower government surplus would mean, all else equal, a slightly bigger current account deficit, overall should have a lowering effect on the dollar but the huge deficit at the moment isn't....

I see yours and GZ view is to just look at the stock index chart and if it looks bullish that's good enough?
