How come so many prominent women still support Gary Condit? Here is a Congressman who used his power to get sex from a naive, vulnerable intern. While Chandra dreamed of marriage and children, Condit was telling his chauffeur how great her "melons" were (as per Larry King). Every public appearance that Condit has made since her disappearance shows him sporting a jaunty, carefree smile, while Chandra's parents agonize over her fate without a word of condolence from the Congressman. Now, Condit's staff puts out word to the press trashing Chandra's reputation. How despicable can a man get? Could it be any more obvious that to the Congressman, Chandra was never anything more that a disposable piece of ass? This no longer has anything to do with whether or not Condit bears any responsibility for her disappearance. What really bothers me is that the talk shows have no problem trotting out one prominent female after another who continue to defend and support this man. Is politics that important to the sisterhood? This really bugs me, ladies! Anything to say about it?
