One concern I have had about PRCY was the ambugity in the 4/4/97 press release:

"All participants treated with the high dose compound believed they were either growing more hair or staying the same, while almost half of the vehicle-treated participants believed they were losing more hair over the course of the study."

This sure isn't the basis of any study that would meet professional scrutiny. No quantitative data is even suggested. I had been hopeful that the phase 2 trial would yeild great results and decided that only a disappointment would result in such a weak press release.

The advantages of a topical application are self-evident. Dr P.,you have first hand experience with peptide copper compounds; how is the Grafcyte(TM) product different from the Tricomin(TM) solution? Is it just different packaging? Also, are FDA approval standards less stringent for topical applications?

I fully appreciate your market analysis; it should not be difficult to market such a special product to a target audience of profesionals; much as Medicis has succeeded in marketing acne medications to dermatologists.

I am also confused by the most recent press release:

"ProCyte will aim efforts to create more products for specialized markets, Particularly podiatry, veterinary and cosmetic surgery"

I follow the cosmetic surgery but I'm lost on the podiatry and veterinary medications. Anybody have the news?

Thanks to all, Art
