John, I caught Ashok Kumar on CNBC this morning. He's positive on Intel, Mark Haines had all the usual questions:

Why should the PC biz pick up, new Windows? Kumar - that and P4 and the new chipset (i845).

How about the high PE? Kumar - in these trough bottoms you have to look at price to sales instead.

How about lowering PC chip prices? Kumar - Intel has to execute on their higher priced WS and server chips to keep prices up. Itanium will start to contribute. He could have mentioned notebook chips, but there wasn't a lot of time.

Didn't mention Roadkill.

I saw that CNBC had "graphics" as Howard Cosell used to say (words on the screen) from Niles, the Peck and GS I think, all negative. They basically think Intel is BSing about Q3 being OK and Q4 better.
