Donald: Do you think you'll be seeing some buy signals in the Naz and S&P before the week is out? My complacency indexes are in oversold territory (but with no buy signals so far). I wouldn't be surprised to see a bounce back up soon.

I can't help wondering what those who've been predicting a summer rally for weeks and weeks do during these downdrafts. They're congratulated on their foresight whenever there's a brief upturn, but what are they doing during all the down weeks? Are they buying and holding, without stops? All very perplexing. They remind me of people carrying signs saying, "THE END OF THE WORLD IS NEAR!" The rally is imminent! But in the meantime .... Faith in a summer rally really is a religion, I think. Maybe believers should have tax-exempt status. That would help with the losses, I suppose.
