In addition, GTW sales of units over last year up 30%. So, we can put to rest any fears that computer sales are slowing down. In fact, with Intel dropping prices on MMX chips to counter the K6 from AMD, we'll see more people upgrading their old 486s(like me ).

Speaking of which, the lower cost NetPCs(including WebTV) with no floppies WILL indeed have a need for external storage...So will all the NCs (network) that are going to be more prevalent in the work place( my guess ).

This is a buying opportunity.

See upgrades in Compac and Dell...

Gateways deficiencies are internal, not sector wide...
