I was speaking with a friend who is an Asst. DA specializing in murders and sex crimes. She's had several missing women cases over the years and reports it's very difficult to prosecute without a body. In cases where the missing woman was not a hooker or into drugs, it's 99% the husband or boyfriend. The husband/boyfriend is ALWAYS the number one suspect.
