John I think everyone is stock on 6% gain in unit shipments. I believe that amds gain was just under 6%. On the other hand 1 million is no way to be close to 6% so intel is playing games. Gottfried caught in one of the reports that intel's inventories went up by 35 days. I'd guess that 35 days is equivalent to 13million chips. In another report that I have read they said that a lot of that inventory is in oems and distributors hands. So as far as we know it might have been a disaster quarter for intel but intel reported that they gained market share I think the fault lies with intel and soundview Regards -Albert
