DataBits, Nothing wrong with taking profits on the way up. The way I read the tape on the XAU/HUI this morning, a lot of PM investors are doing so, no doubt conditioned by the last few years of fleeting gold profits. Kind of the reverse of the buying on the dip the dot comers and techies were conditioned into, sell on the rally. With every ensuing gold stock/POG rally the likelihood grows that this will turn out to be fighting the last war. OTOH, I am in only a bit over 30% on this one and were I at my usual levels I would be taking some profits also. Partially to defray that tendency, I am less invested here and looking forward to getting into the "buy on the dips" psychology as a new way of thinking in the small world of gold investing, ggg. BTW, congrats on reversing your previous short position. If at first you don't succeed, save enough bucks to try again and a trader who can reverse and do that has a future! At least I like to think so, have done it enough myself lol! Best Regards, Roebear
