Rails. A semantic point leading into >>> a deeper conceptual point, in the interest of clarification. "Feelings" sounds a little too much like "emotions". And I think there's been plenty of bandwidth devoted to how dangerous those little buggers can be to traders. What I've tried to stress when I take a turn on the soapbox is trusting your own instincts, based upon doing your own DD and making independent decisions. Personally, I don't think anyone should try and trade exactly like me, Slider or anyone else. A lot of what I do (and suspect Slider would say the same about his own work) is tailored to my own quirks and lifestyle, as well as personalized risk profile, trading objectives and the style I'm most comfortable with. Trading is as much a process of self discovery as it is making money. As we discover the FA, TA, holding periods and how many stocks to play at a time we have the best chance to retain what we learn and grow into better players over time. Hope that clarifies where I'm coming from. Iso
