The problem with competition of LHS is just that: none of it
is reasonably priced. I don't know about well supported or
functional but there's one fact (feel free to check it with
any sources): LHS has more installations of their product in the
world than all of competition combined. In fact, LHS tops the
competition in number of installed packages in both U.S. and
European markets and let's not forget Latin America: Sao Paolo,
Brazil is the *largest* telecom market in the world (or one
of the largest). L.A. is a dwarf compared to Sao Paolo and LHS
has got Brazil's federal telecom agency (whatever its name is)
as its client.

You may ask: what's not reasonably priced ? Well, two of LHS'
primary competitors, CSC (don't remember what it stands for)
and AMS (American Management Services ?) price their products
on the order of 10M dollars, whereas LHS is on the order of 1M (or
so I believe). See the difference ?

Alex.
