What does gender have to do with the
quality or flavor of one's judgment.

It shouldn't.

But it does.

Because the reality is that women react differently than men to to the same situation.

And when feminists have in the past so strongly condemned conservative men on no more evidence than there is against Condit, for them now to defend Condit is hypicritical. Since their earlier comments were made as feminists, it is fair to judge their current comments on the basis of their gender.

In a perfect world, gender wouldn't matter.

So far, I haven't noticed that we've achieved a perfect world yet.
