LG, admittedly its an active system, the point of the post was to see if there were any ideas floating around out there on a way to make it less active (to tame that critter down) and still retain the profitability.

It would be a great system for a floor trader, grabbing the spread would nearly double the profit. In terms of institutional systems its not very active. I worked with a gentleman that had worked for AIG. He stated that some of their better traders would trade $1 million + lots on average over 300 times a day, which works out to 1 trade every 1 minute and 15 seconds, almost knocked me down when he started going over some of the numbers. That's surely not the type of trading that individual investors are looking for, but it certainly can be profitable.
IF there are any ideas for filters please do let me know.

regards
peter
