Remember....? Jul 18 1969 Apparently drunk, Ted Kennedy drives Mary Jo Kopechne off a bridge at Chappaquiddick, NY. He makes no attempt to rescue her; she drowns. Kennedy tells no one about the accident for hours. She tore the headliner out of the car trying to get some life bringing air. He went home and called his lawyer 8 hours later.
