KO is SAFER than MSFT. But for people who understand the computing business, MSFT is a better long term play (if they know when to exit) as MSFT has yielded 2x or 3x more than KO over the last 20yrs. This would be true even going forward. I think KO will continue to grow at 18% or so and there is PEPSI as a some competition. The world is moving to information age more rapidly and that is where the growth is going to be and if you are true monopoly like MSFT, you can make a lot of money and can grow very rapidly.
