I hate to tell you, but our daughters have never gone through the hate the parents stage. And now they're 20 and past the need to. Nor did our son, though he had some times when he tussled over rules and limits. But there were never screaming matches, or fights, or any of the teenage stuff my friends report going through.

Guess we were lucky, and blessed.
