I've read somewhere or heard it somewhere that those goldfish can get as big as their surroundings. Is that true? If it is Ish, don't piss them babies off!

I know a couple in Concord NC who have a Koi pond. I was told that a Koi is a Japanese goldfish with different markings than just gold color. Anyway, one of those puppies is more than a foot long and the others are a little shorter, but close to the same size.

My son and I visited them while on a trip to visit one of our investments. He just fell in love with their Koi pond. He and his wife may have occasion to move to the Charlotte area. And if they do he said he will use the expertise of our friends to build a really elaborate Koi pond. He made a small first trial pond where he lives now in MD. If I get him talking about it sometimes, I get the idea he doesn't want it to be too much larger than Lake Michigan. <VBG>
