But a lot of the market will pay much more attention to the GHZ number than the actual performance of the chips. So, in terms of the market, you are correct. But in terms of this demonstrating anything about the relative capabilities of each company's FABs, it does not. AMD also achieves the same performance with 70% less die area and a single memory channel. You also continue to claim that AMD uses .13 transistors in their .18 process. You can expect them to use .09 transistors in their .13 process - one of the reasons why they prefer SOI.
