Your trouble, JLA, is that you keep changing the rules as you go along. Now we have this apologist bunch of tripe posted after your original thread mission statement. What's next? George W. Bush's inaugural address? Is what you say true in Part B of the mission statement? Of course not. For instance, in the early days of the thread, I often had left-of-center company. Then you got into the habit of banning these people. Why? Because mean old Poet was mean to you. Waaaaaa. Then, later on, after I was the only southpaw left, you created a rule that only one voice of reason permitted on the thread at any one time. Another rule of convenience. And now you've created a "members-only" policy. Have to have six fingers to post there. In effect, you're trying to cover your tracks after-the-fact. Shallow thinking all the way around, JLA. You should have thought of all of this when you instituted your thread back in December. In any event, I think I am ready to rescind my resignation, so take me off the banned list.
