Alcatel, Deutsche Telekom In 3-Yr Optical Fiber Deal Dow Jones Online News, 07/19/2001 02:02 PARIS -(Dow Jones)- French telecommunications equipment supplier Alcatel SA (ALA) said Thursday that it has signed a three-year contract to supply 1.2 million kilometers of cabled optical fiber to German telecom operator Deutsche Telekom AG (DT). Financial terms weren't disclosed. Delivery will begin in the middle of this year.
