Hi Eric,

I had the same question for awhile also.

I don't have any problem with short selling actually and like you have an interest in taking it up in a limited fashion.

I asked GreenLine now and they also have the 150% margin and $3 price rules but you can short VSE and ASE stocks.
Only the COATS stock are not marginable.
The person I talked to mentioned that the VSE has stricter rules for shorting so the margin number may vary a bit.
