You don't need a NC to run Citrix's client. One will be included
with the next Internet Explorer. Why not get one of those $1000
AST computers instead of some unknown, proprietary product
with uncertain prospects? A NC does not have the benefits of
cutthroat competition that leads to ridiculous economies of
scale. By the time a decent NC comes out, that $1000 computer
will be a Pentium with 16 megabytes, 2 G hard drive, and 8x
CDROM running Win95, Internet Explorer, and Citrix client.
Hmm....sounds pretty good to me.

I'm beginning to think that the NC, if it ever takes off, will be a
consumer appliance, and not some glorified X-terminal.
