Receives Letter of Intent for joint venture in Mexico
Calabasas, CA - CoolCan Technologies Inc. (NASD OTC BB: CCTI) (the " Company "), today announced that it has received and accepted a letter of intent from Producciones Infovision of Mexico City, Mexico to begin formal negotiations for the creation of a joint venture between the two companies for the manufacture, distribution, and marketing of the company’s self-chilling INSTACOOL™ technology for the beverage market in Mexico.
Subject to final contract negotiations, the joint venture calls for an initial production run of 100,000 plastic ( “PET" ) bottles incorporating the Company’s self-chilling INSTACOOL™ technology.
Under the terms of the letter Producciones Infovision has expressed an interest in negotiating with the Company an exclusive master license for Mexico, together with an option to secure additional licenses for other South American countries.
Producciones Infovision is a leading industrial group in Mexico with interests in manufacturing, distribution, retail and television production. The group currently manufactures and distributes its own beverage products under the " Aspara " brand name in Mexico.
Coolcan Technologies Inc. is the owner of a unique proprietary patented technology, INSTACOOL™, which may be utilized with any aluminium, glass or plastic ( "PET" ) container for soft drinks, beer, juice or water and which chills the beverage quickly when opened by the consumer.
