Dear Tench: The number quoted was for 1 GB ECC SDRAM for a GS320 Alphaserver (4 x 256 DIMMs). The price was from the Alphaserver Configuration Software for a PC. You can download from Compaq Alphaserver page to check it ( support.compaq.com Pick RCM tools). Your quoted number was for a standard x86 Proliant using standard modules. Please check where I got the numbers before saying I lied. Pete
