Re, my timing. I knew the downside risks when I bought the stock, but I try to keep a long-term perspective. Thailand's growth rate has slowed down by Asian tiger standards (5-6%), but that's still much faster than more mature economies. IMHO, the growth will pick up after a year has passed, and their economy will roar once again.

I only bought a few hundred shares yesterday, because I figured something like this would happen (I just didn't expect it so soon!). I'll keep my powder dry for the real bottom.

BTW, I've had trouble getting detailed quotes for Bangkok Bank. Where do you get yours? PC quote doesn't give me any details except the final ask price.
