I largely agree with you on oil (and N. American gas). I think there is probably enough spare oil capacity (5mb/d?) to handle a modest pick up in demand. Oil has been flat because OPEC has been supporting the price. >what more can the fed do? Wait for their cuts to take effect. 3-6 months is not long enough for the full effect of rate cuts to be apparent.
