Kat Project, Ontario - Navigator 50%
Navigator and partner Canabrava Diamond Corporation discovered the AT-56
kimberlite in northern Ontario in early February, 2001. Although initial
microdiamond counts were low (7 microdiamonds in 263 kgs), preliminary
indicator mineral analyses were considered encouraging. As a result, an
additional 2.6 tonnes of kimberlite from AT-56 was processed for diamonds
in late June. Results are expected before the end of July, 2001.
