I met a kid who purchased a P4. The only negative thing he had to say about it was that it is deceptive for Intel to call the P4 bus a 400 MHz bus while it is really a 100 MHz bus, versus 266 MHz for the Athlon. I couldn't resist pointing out that, if he were going to call the P4 bus a 100 MHz bus, the Athlon bus could only be considered a 133 MHz bus. His response was that even 133 MHz is faster than 100 MHz.
