After having viewed the antiquities and the old of Beijing we ventured into the new and bustling yesterday. The Trade Towers and buildings of the future. Fancy cars, exquisite shops, futuristic products, and fortunately frigid air condtioning.

Siebel products are everywhere, and numerous buses carry large AMD advertisements on their sides with every headrest inside sporting an AMD logo.

As much as we know about them, they know more about us.

There are - get this - 76,000 taxis in Beijing (not a typo!). Gasoline is about $1.50 per gallon (took me some math) and every person knows how to say "Hehro" to which we respond Hello - if they are not trying to sell us something.

But the best news for me is that since Michael Jordan, the response to "Chicago" is no longer Al Capone.

Thanks for the good market action today (yesterday for me) y'all.

Paul
