*OT* Agreed. It stinks so bad its not even funny. There is a smoking gun here somewhere, and even if they can't find it, and any cub reporter should know there's a story in here worth chasing....
Hell, this is a CLEAR violation of Reg FD. The fact that it came so close to options ex, with MSFT chart breaking down last Wed. (along w/Naz) and the unusual nature of the announcement (my buddy at Softie "never" could recall such a pre-announcement as last week), and the buying in Softie the day of the announcement......all evidence of manipulation at hand.
I might just write my friend Ted David on this one-g. He's an SI member, doncha know! (btw- he's an OK guy, and is interested, I think, in exposing some of the scams out there....just don't know how much he's allowed to do about it. I wrote him months ago that if CNBS was smart, they'd turn to investigative reporting frequently on this stuff, because the market(s) are going suck for years- for buy-n-holders, and there is going to be outcry about all this crap, and CNBS best be seen as part of the "solution" and not the "problem" or their ratings might go ka-plooey...In other words, get ahead of the curve.) |
