I'm reminded of the Foxworthy line, talking about his first child,
"You know, those Pampers, when they say 8-12 pounds, they're not kidding. That is ALL those suckers will HOLD."

I'm totally exhausted tonight, so may not make much sense. One day trials always wipe me out. They're much more stressful, I find, than multi-day trials, because you have no chance to review overnight and correct any omissions. You get one shot at the judge, and that's it. So I find it really exhausting.
It's nights like this that I wonder whether I really want to remain a teetotalet. The way people here sometimes talk about relaxing in the evening with a tall frosty drink sounds awfully appealing.
If I make even less sense than usual tonight, you'll know why. |
