" What everybody is IGNORING is the fact that those price cuts are ALSO ACCOMPANIED by TWO NEW SPEED GRADE introductions - 1.9 GHz and 2.0 GHz. These are priced near the current values of the existing 1.7 and 1.8 GHz devices - today. Intel is doing what it always has done - introduce faster new devices - ramp the volume - drive down the price AND the COST - then introduce newer processors at faster speeds and higher prices. Intel has been doing this for most of their 32 year existence. For those shocked by this action, they should invest in a toothpaste or laundry soap company. Paul
