What a great twist!

I once worked in an area where there were many bears (still do, but that's another story). A crew foreman demanded of his female crew members that they inform him of their "Womantime" so he could protect them. Naturally, they would have none of this, but the government in its infinite wisdom produced a study to back him up. Only problem, the study concluded that the women were right all along.

Only a couple of years ago the government conducted a study to determine whether the new citrus oil-based, non-toxic tree marking paint would attract bears, thus endangering the tree markers. (I kid you not!) Some stakes painted with the stuff were planted in easy reach of several captive grizzlies. One actually went up to sniff the stake and several other non-treated controls and then promptly ignored them all.
