OT-FWIW: Zacks Analyst Says "Strong Buy" on GLW, CIEN, CLS, CSCO. 7-20-01, "INTERNET WIRE -- 5 Star analyst Jim Kelleher believes we are truly in the dark before the dawn. The Argus Research analyst, whose 2000 recommendations posted a 101% return, sees the telecom companies coming back as demand for equipment starts to increase again. Today, Kelleher shares his insight into the market and picks these stocks that will make you money: Celestica, Inc. (NYSE:CLS - news), CIENA Corporation (Nasdaq:CIEN - news), Cisco Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CSCO - news) and Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW - news)."

That is funny, Zacks was just recently saying to sell GLW: 6-14-01, "Zacks Issues Strong Buy Amerada Hess (AHC) And Texaco (TX) - Maintains Sell Recommendation For Tellabs (TLAB), Corning (GLW)"

I don't pay that much attention to these analysts, but since they are so negative on the telecom sector now, it should have some impact when they change their minds. I am still thinking as to which companies will come out of this ok long term, hope GLW is among that group.
