jp - I think you and I are really on the same page after all. That Naz collapse last fall was a lot more than the average annual October massacre ritual. The frustrating part is that this sideways "trader's market" is turning out to be extremely difficult to trade, even for experienced investors. It's full of whipsaws and mixed signals because traders are taking small profits at light speed before they evaporate. That's why we can't seem to make any headway in either direction lately. I agree with you, whether this ultimately resolves to the upside or downside, this chop could go on for a long, long time.
