Penntrade - I have begun using Penntrade for my Canadian purchases and although the commission cost is definitely an improvement over TD Waterhouse, there have been some curious occurrences on 2 of my 1st 3 trades.

First, a GTC order continued to be shown at Penntrade's website as GTC, but by looking at independent quotes, it was clear that my order was not there the 2nd day. Penntrade admitted that it was an error by their Canadian broker thinking it was a day order, corrected it, and awarded me a free trade.

Second, I received a fill for 10,000 shares on a day when 3 separate quote sources show that only 5,000 shares were traded that day.

Third, my quote sources show my bid price and size for a buy order and then a reduction in the bid size, but the Penntrade site does not show a partial fill.

Since Penntrade was suggested here a couple of months ago, I was wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences with them.

TIA,

vt
