AMAT YoYo Demo —- Options (Disastrous result!) Sold 5 Calls Jul 45 @ 0.30 (bought @ 9.10 / sh) Sold 4 Calls Jul 42.5 @ 2.05 (bought @ 13.50 / sh) Then with the proceeds: —- Bought 5 Calls Aug 50 @ 1.80 / sh Total Gains/Losses thus far:--- (1 point = $100) Weekly/intra-day YoYo Play = -98.18 points Bi-weekly YoYo Play = 1.24 points Big mistake for being too confident. Should have bought Oct, or LEAPs instead of Jul. The proceeds —-$900 is still a lot of money as far as my Options strategies are concern. Even $300 is a lot like what happened last Bull Market when: —- In the account I was about to close I bought 1 Call just for the heck of it, saw it became Zero at the Bottom, forgot about it until the broker exercised for me the Expired Option . That $300 became $900 and then went ahead for 1 1/2 year to $35K. So no matter how little my cash is, I regard it highly.
