The inside of my house, or the inside of my pant leg? <g>

I did have squirrels in my house once, sort of. They gnawed their way in under the eaves and I could see a hole to the outside opening up from inside my attic. I live in a condo and don't own the outside of my house, and I know that expecting quick action from them is fruitless, so I nailed a board against the rafters to keep them out of my attic. What that accomplished was to make a very nice little house for them inside my walls. It was a couple of years before the condo folks patched the hole on the outside. I could hear the little family from my attic each year.

I haven't had the nerve to pull off that board. I'm sure there's a real mess behind it.
