Almost 1 month later, those end of the qtr pump and dump
stocks are biting the dust. Remember those stocks everyone just HAD to have the last 15 minutes of trading 6/29?

Here is how they are faring now.

[From the closing price on 6/29 thru 7/20 closing]:

WMUX -29%
WAVX -43%
VXPT -18%
VLTS -20%
UAXS -43%
TWMC -18%
THDO -50%
TGEN -31%
TBIO -41%
STXN -16%
SMDI -37%
SIPX -39%
ROIL -26%
RIGL +.005% Wow, a diamond in the rough.
RGCI -34%
POZN -31%
PGTV -39%
ONXS -35%
MTWV -33%
MGEN -1.3%
MDRX -22%
LXNT -41%
LBAI -19%
KQIP -23%
ITXC -36%

That's just a few of them. In almost every single case, these stocks blew their tops on 6/29 and on 7/2 immediately traded significantly down. And they've been dropping or plateau-ing ever since.

Is it difficult to sell these stocks short when they are like bottle rockets in the last 15 minutes? Has anyone regularly used this strategy of selling short into end of the quarter window dressing?
