That is because the ideas that the Founding Fathers promoted were ignored or twisted. In all those cases you will see that inalienable rights were NOT recognized despite lip service to that effect. Inalienable rights are still not being recognized today, either to gain political power or to attempt behavioral control on the populace at large, or for one small group to impress its beliefs upon the majority or vice-versa.
