JC, I have had both a squirrel and a possum in my house. With 3 dogs at the time, both were exciting events in our household. The possum , we woke up to in bed; believe me, you do not want to wake up to wet, limp fur in your bed - very much "The Godfather " routine. Hard to tell who made the first catch - the cocker and cocker-spitz were both on point (first time I'd ever seen either of them do that) but the lhasa was trying to take credit too. I think with the amount of screaming that went on , they learned it was not a good idea to present the trophies to us in bed at night.

The squirrel came down from the attic . I had left the attic door in my closet open while trying to figure out how many beasts were up there ( of course they were not active when I had left the door open), and he jumped down - and it was off to the races. My sweet babies were suddenly transformed into wild beasts and I had furniture flying everywhere. At one point , the squirrel was standing upright in my kitchen behind a potted plant, just staring , as if to say " I know you can see me, but I will take my chances with you against those dogs finding out where I am !"
