Do you read in bed

I live in bed. I got into the habit in college and never moved on. I have almost no use for the rest of my house. Except storage. When I move and shop for a home, I'll be looking for 3000 square feet arranged as a studio apartment. Last year I was thinking of getting an architect to design one, but Mr. Market has since diminished my expectations of custom design. And ocean front. And marble floors. Etcetera.

Does your cat do this?

I'm catless at the moment. I had one who only drank from my glass. He'd dip a paw in and lick. I started covering up the glass, but he just quit drinking altogether. A bowl on the kitchen floor just wouldn't do. So I ended up leaving a glass of water on the night stand for him. They learn to train us early in their little lives. Not long ago I had a foster cat who also drank from my glass, but with him, covering it worked. And he shortly went on to a permanent home.

I'm glad to see you've managed to finally get some quality time with your new kitten, at least.
