You really should repeat the reading comprehension class that you apparently failed or skipped altogether. When you learn to read the meaning of the words as written instead of imparting to them your juvenile desire to see what you want to see, then come back and make untwisted observations and comments.

Just to repair one of your many misconceptions, brother Darrell was arrested on a long outstanding warrant for parole violation. He also is wanted, as a normal police procedure, for questioning in case he may possibly be able to shed even a tiny glimmer of light on this baffling case. His status as a brother of Gary Condit makes him a potential source of information, as would be expected in any thorough police investigation. His long rap sheet does in no way drive me to leap to a conclusion about any possible complicity on the part of Gary Condit in the disappearance of Chandra Levy.
