I noticed later that it had made a really lovely impression in charcoal on the ceiling of the livingroom, like a Japanese ink drawing. I left it there for posterity.

Ah, Poet. Yes, there is a certain sacredness about our unexpected domestic encounters with the wild creatures.

How typical of you to view such an encounter as a Japanese ink drawing!! In my mindview, that fits you perfectly!
